Okay so no more wipes than you shouldn't be changing things that totally screw up the mechs that I build that require double heat sinks you have totally gone about this all wrong and I am going to give you the week than I am done with this game. I love the game I was really getting into it after the last patch. I just don't get it your going to make two mechs that I enjoy using usless because of DHS and than your going to not give me my mech credit back so I can rebuild my mechs and start over again that's just crazy I paid good money for that and your going to screw me over you need to pull your head out of your ARSE

yeah i spent 40 million cbills on mechs that no longer function . i am not going to waste another second on this game until this **** gets sorted out.

when are we going to be able to use stock builds without over heating?
when are we going to be able to viably use pulse weapons without it turning out to be a bug that made them viable?
when is the gauss rifle not going to be the begining and end of the list of viable ballistic weapons?
when are lrms going to be fun?
when are you going to make medium and large mechs that aren't the missle catapult viable?

why the **** are double heatsinks taking up 3 slots when they are only 40% better than regular heat sinks while taking 300% more space?

why are double heat sink assault mechs less heat efficient then regular heat sink assault mechs?
why do you hate energy weapons with such a sickening passion?
WHY are you doing all these stupid things?

I wana play this game . really i do , but every week i find the things i invest in ruined while the same op **** is still alive and kicking.
i cant keep this up

This is the open beta, expect these kinds of radical changes. I would be more worried if PGI wasn't TRYING these extremes to find the mid ground for what they will deem is the full release.

I don't get why so many people keep saying this. There is never going to be a "full release"

This is a free-to-play game, open beta = full launch.

People can call it a beta and say to expect it, but people aren't stupid and will vote with their wallets, and I suspect many people will vote to keep them closed if they get burnt.

I can understand some of the bitterness here... weapons I've bought, no issue. Mech chassis and systems I can sell/use later, ok. But upggade changes that I'll have to pay to remove, so I can rebuild a broken build, that's a little hard to swallow. As a beta tester, I decided to use DHS in a number of mechs, along with endo and ferro fibrous. I'm now in the position of having to sell a ton of stuff to have the cash to rebalance and build a viable mech. Oh, I can't do that yet either, as all the various bugs make it hard to judge what to use, and I don't want to be in this situation again. So I'll end up with unoptimised builds, afraid to spend the cbills on high end upgrades, as removing them is punative at this point.

Agree with OP. This is not open beta since everything is permanent. It's a perverse excuse to say the product is not finished.

Yeah the problem is not that they are changing it, its that we aren't getting our money back that we used to build what we had then see it become useless with the only way of making it useful again to spend more money.

Maybe that is what they are going for, cause I am sure some peeps will spend their money, just not this one.

Thats funny because they are planning a full 1.0 client in the near future, which is open release. Other than that, Black Light Retribution was in an open beta and then released, planetside 2 basically an open beta and is going to a full release etc etc.

We're in version 1.0.142 right now. They even said that there will never be anything past open beta because they plan on releasing content until the game dies. Thus there is no "full release"

Sometimes you got work at it a little longer for a full release.
