BTW, did people read the other poster's finding that noticed that Double Heat Sinks in theengine, but 1.4 sinks outside? Error or intentional? Who knows.

Hoping they decide to move DHS to 1.8 per (for both inside/outside engine) and make their maximum heat increase only by 1. This will make SHS having the niche of allowing for a higher cap on heat to allow for bigger alpha strikes.

Also, I hope they decide to add the other heat management penalties.

AWS-9M doesn't work. Hunchback HBK-4P (customized) does more damage than Awesome AWS-8Q (customized).

I rest my case.

I like your assessment however it doesn't include clan mechs. I think the devs have clan mechs built already at least 4 one for each class for internal testing.

We dont have access to that data. i expect it to show that clan mechs with real DHS are beyond god like.
remember all weapons got a rate of fire and damage buff when the game went skill based and needed fast paist
pwe pwe pwe.... action.

any game balancing decisions should have clan tech in mind.... god i hope so....

The Awesome 9m will never work unless they rebalance heat from the ground up. Firing 3 ERPPCs in MWO is akin to setting yourself on fire. Most IS Tech 2 builds and all clan builds will basically be 2 alpha then explode mechs.
