So, most of us know of the welfare ammo (free 75% on ammo tonnage) but I noticed that it is possible to never pay for armor.
I am hoping it is unintentional, hence my reasoning for posting this.
Mechlab>Loadout>Repair then click repair on each hardpoint I have noticed that if you repair each HP separately that armor gets auto repaired to 75% and to repair to 100% costs ZERO C-bills.
I first noticed this on the last patch and was waiting for this patch, hoping that it would be addressed. Since it has not, please fix immediately. In the mean time, I shall enjoy my *free* repairs.
Has anyone else noticed this or am I spilling secrets?

Have you filled out a ticket for this? If so maybe another one is in order.

Next time, before you repair, check your Inventory. Salvage can add items to your Inventory and given the Free 75% from the Devs the other 25% can come out of inventory and as such you pay zero.
I thought I read they were reducing the Free to 25%? hmmmm

I have screenshots and I do not have any extra armor in my Mechlab, just trying to figure out a good way to upload my SS's

uhh I attempted that, but before the patch it would say zero C-bills but still charge the correct amount. When you save after making the repairs, check your total bank.

well, from what I did before, your 1st statement is almost correct XD
yeah, it states that it's free (zero fees) but you will still pay for it. Take a look next time when you're repairing just one part, your total c-bills will still decrease.

So it was your not checking "after" that got you. I was hopeful it was your Inventory, but you gotta PAY! nanananana j/k

I have no problems paying if I have to pay, hence the whole reason of my post was to let PGI know of a potential issue
