My proposition is to implement a system where trial mechs earn C-bills as they do right now for a set number of matches, and then after that they start to decline in how much they earn. This would allow for new players to come into the game and still make enough money to earn a mech, but experienced players would be discouraged from jumping into trial mechs just to farm c-bills.

So one possible implementation would be this: allow trial mechs to make full earnings up to 30 games. For a 31st game in a trial mech, a player would only make a certain percentage. Say 85%. After 40 games earnings drop again to 70%. After 50 games the earnings are 35%. After 60 games, 20%.

The goal is to encourage players to buy mechs early and discourage farming c-bills.

remove the win/loss bonus
Balance out the role based bonuses
Add in more team-work centric bonuses
Allow Trials to modify their mechs but restrict their tech to Lvl 1 stuff.

Oh, and Stop Hazing and Start Raising...

The point is that we should encourage experienced players to play in owned mechs. If you lose money in an Atlas maybe you should be looking at piloting a different mech that does make you money.

I don't see how that has any impact on my suggestion.

It is still simple to farm with trial mechs, you just have to cycle through them now.
