The title instantly made me think of Monty Python ;)

They are going to patch and fix the LRM angle issue. Plus I am hoping the ECM addition will help a bit.

AMS + fast mech. Try building a counter to the issue instead of crying about it.

Thats not a solution, its a scapegoat

Tell me more how an LRM Boat could keep target on you if you flank with your Jenner and dont engage until reach the LRM boats..

Because my maxed out Cicada armor/speed/ams got blown to dust in 2 volleys of LRM 15's . They see you coming and fire its that simple.

At the moment, at last for me. In almost every game are 6+ Catapults on every side, making the game a LRM spamfest. It's like the game is all about that.

No fun. Not at all.

It was about that before. This just made it worse.

Half the problem is that every enemy mech is a spotter. You have no way to engage without getting spotted and obliterated. If indirect fire was eliminated we all have to honestly admit we wouldn't be having these discussions, because it would be extremely difficult for more than 1 LRM boat to fire on you and when they did you could use cover. (unless your just standing in the open)

The other lame thing is PGI keeps adding more and more pointless geometry and cover to the maps. Cover is pretty much pointless against LRM's unless your standing in the caves.

I play most styles of mechs, specialize in fast and assault mechs. I've played boats and love playing light mech boat killers. You just need situational awareness when it comes to LRMs. Be careful of LOS (Line Of Sight) from other mechs that may be spotting. Look for overhead cover that may stop LRMs or buildings/hills. Smash spotter lights with a large hammer very quickly if possible. If you are still having difficulty play an LRM boat and watch what other players do to stop your LRM barrages and do that when the situations are reversed. LRMs are powerful but "dumb" so just outsmart/maneuver them.

LRMs will seem OP to players that want to rush out or don't stay aware of LRM boat positions.
