The problem started immediately after yesterday's patch. I tried logging into the game, but I would just get a message that said "network connection error". I decided to re install the game (pretty much on a whim), but now it's even worse because it wont even install! I just get a message that says "there was an error when connecting: unable to connect to the remote server." I've noticed some people having connection problems, but none like this.

Sounds like a firewall problem. Have you checked to see mechwarrioronline.exe, mwoclient.exe and mwopatcher.exe are blocked by your firewall or AV application?

Ok, I set them to "allow" instead of "auto" and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.
