I would expect there would be some sort of beta signup for a closed beta, but who knows they may decide to send invites direct with links to the NDA and all the other conditions of closed beta testing.

My guess is that we will see a closed beta signup form at some point to allow testing with a larger number of hardware variables than can be tested in F+F beta.

If I had to pick a date range I'd say mid to late May for start of closed beta with testers outside the F+F group with open beta coming late July to mid Aug, but of course this is just a guess.

I was just going to say you all had finally reached the pinnacle of Forum redonkulousness. That being, arguing with a Dev about whether they see the F&F Beta as Closed or Not. Holy smokes...

So, since they said that they're launching open beta in summer, I'm gonna go ahead and propose a bill to rotate seasons ahead one step. Summer months are now fall, Fall months are now winter, Winter months are now spring, and (most importantly) Spring months are now summer. So where the heck is my durned open beta, PGI!?

summer 2012, thats like june 1st right, first day of summer cause summer is june july and august in north america.

We didn't have much of a winter in Ontario. A few days where we had some major snow but nothing like when I was growing up. In fact Winter seemed more like spring with a few snow days occasionally.

I think that somewhere in May should be right time to annouce beta,I mean summer isnt far away,technicaly two months but I dont think thats like too long time to get us informed on beta....

Summer of 2012 is almost here so they will have a very short closed and open beta period unless they are delayed.
