was Just in a match on frozen city and battling a jenner and boom the game shuts down and i'm back at my windows!!

That's 2x now i have been dropped in the middle of a battle while fighting another mech, PGI the last patch was decent but you need to fix the game dropping dc crap.

Despite the harsh tone in the headline I can second that. Happened to me multiple times. No warning or anything and you just get thrown back to your desktop. But to me that happens very rarely... like twice in 8 hours of gaming or so. Its like you press Alt+F4.

See, a "good" customer service person when dealing with an irate customer knows to ignore the tone, and ignore some of the words, but "listen" to what the customers is trying to "convey".

The customer is trying to raise the level of urgency through tone and language to avoid having to take the next step, violence, to get across to you that this is extremely upsetting to him.

Language and tone are a great shortcut into letting another person know exactly how you feel.

You could try and do it civily, with nicey-nice words, but unfortunately most of us are just too ******* dense to get it without someone screaming and dropping a few F-bombs.

Regardless of tone, the message is an important one.

There is still a nasty CTD issue, and it seems to occur far more regularly on Frozen City than any other map.

Was going to say the same thing myself...

I have had this issue too since this last patch. Happen to me 2 times last night but I don't recall what map or maps I was on when it happened.

Thats because they are in the in game chat screen.

The random disco / revert to windows with no error / warning is very irritating. It has happened to me a couple times, not just frozen city, but other maps. I dont mind taken a beating in the game, but I dont want the guy in the other mech(s) that are beating the crap out of me thinking I disco'd to keep from getting killed. I could careless about my K/D ratio and I enjoy the game play / battles. If i am going to get clobbered, then so be it, but they wont get me without a fight. Being shut out tossed back to desktop is frustrating to say the least. And YES on comms I have dropped the fbomb or 2 about it. Never in game chat or on the MWO forums.

Yes, there are memory leaks under certain situations.

Yesterday I played at least 20 matches, encompassing all available maps, without any issues. I then decided I'd better restart my client to avoid any memory leak issues, and then around 7 matches later, black screen...
