This issue occured three times before I gave up for the day.
Initially, I had been modifying a mech. When I hit the 'Save Mech' button the screen converted to it's interim setting as usual before going back to the Mechlab screen, but froze there, with no other buttons being responsive. I had to quit and log back in.
This happened twice.
On a subsequent occasion I had just completed a battle and upon reentering the Mechlab, found no buttons responsive and the interface elements were flickering.

Bad if you changed the engine or armour...

I would add myself to this list. Screen freezes when I try to save from the mech lab after making changes. The changes are lost and after I restart client I have to rebuild again. This can happen as much as 4 or 5 times in a 4 hour play period.

I have not had this issue, but a team mate has. he has even been in the process of modifying a mech and the game will crash (crash to desktop) on him. When re-started, the changes C-Bills have been deducted but the parts are in inventory not on his mech.

This seems to happen to me whenever I buy something new and save changes. Game will freeze, no other buttons will be responsive, and when I do get back in after restarting the client, I'll have purchased the items but they're in my inventory instead of on my mech.

I've had this happen as well, and any C-bills spent when saving also do not reset, The loadout changes also revert back to previous state.

Same thing happens to me very often. I have to restart the game and try again, sometimes more than once, until the changes are saved. This issue is very annoying.

Had the same happen to me. Bought new items, installed, saved, game froze. Logged out and back in, items were in my inventory but not in the mech I equipped them in.

I just started getting this issue when I bought a CN9-A. It has not happened to my other mech at all, just the CN9-A.
To get around this, makeone change, save mech, make another change, save mech, ect. Just do one thing at a time and save. This seems to correct it, but makes it very slow to build mech.

I have found the best thing to do is to only make alterations on one hardpoint then save it then go back in. It's a real ball ache but easier that closing the game down. I have found if you sign out then back in again that will work but not sure if that leads to in game crashes down the line. They seem so random it's hard to tell what causes them.

I get this as well. Usually when it freezes, I just exit the client and restart it, go back to the mech I was working with and replace what I was working on. It usually does not freeze up after doing this. (On that mech)
