This was intentional entire Mechs were glowing white hot in the prior release this was introduced by 3.4 and was pending work to tune the lighting for 3.4. It was also triggering the HDR too much (I understand this apparently still the case for some users which we'll look at).
I agree it may not be quite noticeable enough right now. Damage will be getting another pass before long to coincide with work being done to allow visual customization of your Mech so it's still not in it's final state right now.
Thank you a lot for that fast answer Mister Craig
. I see your problems and I am really happy, that's not the final stage and I am sure you will find the right middle course to solve that: good work anyway, I am enjoying that game!

I believe what you are refering to is the glowing effect you get from an enemy Mech when it begins to take fire.
I believe this may be related to an issue of your screen going very dark like polorized glass (some did not like) when a Mech began to light up like the sun during battle.
I personally thought it was great as your eyes would naturaly do this to protct themselves and brought more realism.
Anyway in order to turn off the darkening effect they may have had to remove the glowing effect.
Really sad and if they compensate that with removing the glowing effect; so it will be the best but in other case and I'm understanding (I am not from england or america) Mister Craig's words correctly: they're not finished with that and not really happy about that removing and looking forward to place both without any problems
I'll stay tune and wait what will happen in a couple of months!
Thanks both for that news!
