Will there ever be development on a Single Player/Co-op(PLEASE!!) aspect to MWO?

I believe this was answered on the previous Q&A'S - I think it was Garth who said one of his most wanted features is PvE, but that this was very, very far down the track.

My question: I like these question and answer sessions, but when is a new Dev Blog or Interview on the way? I just looked and I think the last ones were around April / May. I love the command chair and the snippets of upcoming features it shows. Could the latest one be turned into a poll - where we can nominate one of the upcoming features to get a more in depth look in the form of a Dev blog / interview?

Keep up the good work, loving the game and looking forward to each and every patch :D

What is your problem?

By the way, regarding your MRM question, those weren't around till the early/mid 3060s, so unless there is a time skip (very unlikely at this point) we won't be seeing them.

That means it was Pixon44, but he disconnected (either voluntarily or he was dropped by a hardware / software issue).

This is also where you will sometimes see "PlayerX killed" (with no name given for the player killed, because no player is connected to that mech any longer)

Regarding the targeting system.
Right now it seems MWO uses some kind of C3i system but fully enabled for 2 lances, although the limit should be 6 units.

As far I remember C3i cannot be linked to other C3i networks. So you would either have information divided into 6 & 6 (or in the currently implemented system to 8 & 4) units.

Question:
Would you think it to be possible to have something like a C3 Master/Slave system with uplink for larger battles, so we can have actual lance commanders or will you continue using the current targeting system (c3i like) for up to twelve units? Would possibly also make ECM much more interesting / tactical.

When do you expect to have european servers? The lag is pretty horrendous currently.

Will you please post a schedule for upcoming Mechs in game after the Cataphract?

IE. Stalker - Dec 17th
Trebuchet - Jan 14th
Jagermech - Feb 11th...

For that matter are we still on a 1/month schedule?

Could we please have some option to see the mechs from the back in the mechbay? I've played HUNDREDS of games and I still don't know exactly where certain sections (like rear-center-/side-rear-torsos) begin and end. Only when I face a mech from the front can I be sure I'm aiming at the piece I actually want to hit! Thank you very much in advance!

Question #2: In the old FAQ page we had this:

Quote

Q. Will the unseen Mechs make it into the game after all?
A. Look forward to a future announcement.

I was wondering if you had any idea if this annoucement were still coming? I'll be happy with many of the Reseen (though not that gods-awful Reseen Locust.)

The upcoming camo system will have 360-degree rotation of mechs so you can see how they look. If that can also work while in the mechlab looking at armor sections it should accomplish what you want :D

Is there any chance in perhaps seeing different versions of the current autocannon's perhaps like 5 round burst ac 20 (4 damage per shell for example) AC 10 2 round burst (5 damage per shell) and etc?...

Quoted from http://www.sarna.net...i/Autocannon/20

"Different manufacturers and models of autocannons have different calibers (25mm-203mm) and rates of fire. Due to this, autocannons are grouped into generic "classes" of autocannons with common damage ratings, with Autocannon/20s doing massive damage while having very short range.
An example of the rating system: the Crusher Super Heavy Cannon is a 150mm weapon firing ten shells per "round" while the Chemjet Gun is a 185mm weapon firing much slower, and causing higher damage per shell. Despite their differences, both are classified as Autocannon/20s due to their damage output."

Honestly I think this could be an excelent addition to the game that other mech warrior's have never really touched on, adding more variation and options to load outs, do you want that one shot high damage punch that if you miss you loose it all? or the 5 round burst model that is easier to land at least some of the damage if not all etc.

Thanks!

Q: Given that 80% of players don't like the Mech XP system (Poll) can you share something of your plans for the Mech XP system's future?

1. How long until non-American (Euro or maybe even Asian) servers would be launch?
2. Does "No more wipes" means no wipes through open betta or no wipes at all (even before release)?
3. AFAIK, maximum available engines only limited by mech tonnage, so why Jenners (35tons) able to put 300 engines, while Raven 2 series only limited to 245 and 3L to 295 engines?

Will it be possible to add a chat menu that has pre made text/spoken comment / commands for use by those that are not playing with voice coms?

Things like enemy sported with the grid ref, or calling for help or fire support on their target etc. This might help a lot with coordination with random groups.

i WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS.

Random international players often try to text chat but sometimes dont have a full grasp of English.
And my French, German is limited...
Just F1-F5 would be superb.
Include...affirmative, negative and help at least.... ;)

Has the overheat glitch where the mech stays overheated after re powering up been or is being addressed?

Any chance you could show how many slots are left whilst kitting out your mech in mech lab just like the tonnage, heat efficiency etc?

When is the all time favourite mech Timberwolf coming. ;)

One of the greatest strenghts of the Battletech universe has always been the story line (along with the mechs and awesome 'splosions). This made the franchise far more memorable then other giant robot games in the past. It's also really fun to watch new players dig through Sarna and having them discover new things about the setting.

This is something that could give MWO a great advantage over games like Hawken or Reign of Thunder, especially since they don't have a established lore.

Assuming that it is one of your intensions, how will you guys bring the storyline to the players?
