Oh and I have to mention Kathrine Steiner ( Victor's sister), so much hate for her...just thinking about those novels brought up that old hatred:)

Joanna is pretty freaking awesome IMO.

She is my second favorite, a true Clanswoman. Roasty toasty Widowmaker!

I'm not going to pick a single person, but a group: The Arcade Warriors, a company within the 6th Confederation Reserve Cavalry.
Those guys never attended a mechwarrior school, they learned how to pilot a mech by simply playing a simulator game.

Joanna does kick some serious ***.

I'm not familiar with those Blechritter, though I did make some bannock this weekend, and the fact that a faction is named after such tasty bread, is pretty darn cool.

From novels I'm picking Jeremiah Rose from "Main Event" and "DRT". An elite ex-Com Guard adept who formed a merc company with the sole aim of killing clanners :P
Main Event was the first Battletech novel I bought and have lost count of the number of times I've read it. Though when I pick it up these days I cant help but wince at the terrible editing.

Not a warrior but another favourite would be Magestrix Emma Centrella, since I'm I sucker for both strong women and an underdog.

Paul Moon, one of my most recent fabourites. Though the others are nice, I just figured I would pick the one most dont.

Theodore Kurita

It is not enough that you leave Luthien for nine months to consult with our enemy, but now you bring him here! Then I find you turning over to him responsibility for the safety of Imeprial City! Maximiilian Liao was fortunate in his child. At least Romano had the mercy to assassinate him before destroying his nation! - Takashi Kurita

If that is truly your mind, shall I get a gun and shoot you? - Theodore Kurita
