I can't seem to find anything about what I am about to ask. Sorry if there was a thread already addressing this I would appreciate you linking where it is talked about.
Currently the highest the game runs is in dx9 with CryEngine 3. I know the game is capable of going up higher, to dx10 and dx11 but are the devs working towards this or is the game going to be permanently in dx9? Any graphical improvement is welcome in my book, game does look good for what it runs on, but I sure would like to see this game run at its max and optimum settings. I have a PC rig that will run it just fine and I pray they push the limits.
