I'll get right to the point, I am a old school mechwarrior fan. Started playing mechwarrior when I was 9 and have been a fan since (card game, minis, pc all of it
). However I live in kinda the back woods of no where minnesota so I lack friends IRL that are into mechwarrior. So I decided to take a stab in the dark and post here in hopes that I could find a group of players either on the same time zone to play with or at the very least a group with vent or other such ability to talk with them and see about joining so I wouldn't be basically the loner merc getting crushed in pugs vs coordinated groups.If your group is looking for new members or just interested in making a new friend send me a PM or leave a reply here.
Some random stats to consider
I have previous experience in leadership positions for games that required a coordinated group effort. Meaning that I know both how to listen when given orders and if need be take on a leader role when the situation demands it.
(Examples of such games as follows)
- Raid leader of 2 guilds in WoW (Vanilla/BC wow were raiders were real men)
- Killzone
- Armored Core V
I am in Central time zone (GMT -6)
I am free almost every night (cept fridays when I play Magic)
I played the beta enough that I feel I have a solid handle on the core mechanics.
I am comfortable take on any assigned role as needed by the group (scout, assault, LRM Support, Ect Ect)
