As a suggestion, I think it would be useful to see what friendly mechs are targeting the same mech you are. As a close range brawler, I find it absolutely invaluable to know when an LRM boat is "assisting" me on a target so I can keep enough distance not to be caught in the friendly missile fire. It would also help teamwork and coordination for new members, if they are cycling through targets and see half their team has something lit up, they would be able to pick up "THAT one needs to die" a bit quicker/easier.

Put the friendly target letters on the right side of reticle when targeting an enemy mech, and display who is who to teammates on mouseover, and on the battlemap (which honestly, would actually give people a reason to open it for once.)
