Should you be able to buy one color and use it on ever mech. You might have 30 mechs. I think allot more people would buy colors and camo if you could use them on every mech. The developers would gain more revenue. Compare it to the laffer curve and taxes. The more you tax the less revenue the government earns.
It won't seem like such a rip off to purchase colors if it was for all mechs.

Yes, All MC vanity item purchases and special codes should be a one time purchase. Basically, I pay the 250 MC for paint or whatever, then I pay CBills to put it on my mechs. The same could be done with cockpit items. A down payment of MC to unlock the item, then purchase more of that unlocked item with CBills. That way I don't have to unequip a bobble-head from one mech every time I want to put it on another. I would just buy more with CBills.
