My first was the original 3025 Valkyrie, not that newfangled "Project Phoenix" imposter. Love that 'Mech.

If you include the table top version (it was my frist exp. with the Battletech universe) I drove a Warhammer ( yes one of the Unseen). Frist mech I killed was a Grasshopper I also overheated my mech but I got that jumping *******.

Trenchbucket
TBT-5S - The 5S variant of the Trebuchet modifies the design from a long-range support 'Mech to a close combat machine. The LRM launchers have been completely removed from the 'Mech and are replaced with two Thunderstroke SRM-6 launchers and an additional eight heat sinks. The only weapons the 'Mech retains are its 3 Medium Lasers.

Shadowhawk 2K....... which I had for a couple campaign years. I was then promoted to a Crusader. During my time in the Crusader I saved my Company and earned a medal and was promoted and recieved a Battlemaster. Then as I was given a decision in the campaign to go to a maurader 2 (the 100 Ton version) the campaign ended......right before the clan invasion.

Would love for any of those to be in (though with all the troubles I am not holding my breath =)

The only recent memory was of myself teaching my brother when I got the 25th anniversary edition. 4 mechs each, he named his Paul, Ringo, George and John. So I had to name mine Baygon, Raid, Mortien and Pea Beu.

Just worked in my eyes :D

Edit: I'll find the sheets and put in the types of mechs.

Baygon-----Panther......................... Ringo-----Jenner
Raid---------Cicada...........................George---Enforcer
PeaBeu----Hunchback.....................John------Hermes II
Mortine-----Zeus...............................Paul------Awesome

3025 Pheonix Hawk, named "Headhunter". Scored two headshots with my Large Laser and my Medium Laser on an enemy Orion during my shooting phase. Broke the back of the enemy lance. Good memories. :D

Going way back to the early 1990s when I first started playing, the first mech I ever used in my very first game was:

The 3025 Panther, I believe it was the 9R version.

I still remember that game. It was at a game shop in Pittsburgh and I was invited to give the game a try by a group of people who played there regularly at a table in the back room.

I have a vague memory of playing BattleTech 3050 and piloting a Mad Cat. However, I didn't get to play much. Therefore, I count my first real 'Mech as the Bushwacker in MW3. I have since moved on to bigger and better 'Mechs (sorry Zakatak, lol) but the Bushy will always have a place in my heart. in tabletop, I used a Centurion first (I think) along with an Atlas. And then I created a Marauder IIC configuration that should never have seen the light of day...

Centurion, one of the best all around mechs for the table top version, Just moved the rear faceing medium laser to the front.
