Locking view to direction?

Is there any way of locking the upper part of the mech so that you are always moving in the direction you are looking?

Thanks

No, sorry; this suggestion runs counter to the sim style gameplay as the game is intended to be played.

Note that the C key will center your mech's upper torso to match the direction of your legs, so if you're turned around and you want to face the direction you are moving, press C.

That would negate the whole purpose of your torso twist, and arm movement for targeting freedom.

Well, technically you could just not touch your mouse, but that would make it pretty difficult to aim. If you don't know already, you can center your torso so that it faces the same direction as your legs by pressing C.
