I disagree with this. I think it is fine the way it is. Might need a wee buff money wise all the way around, but paying for amount of damage done would just make this a race to Atlas and whatnot.

I often get as much damage with my Jenner or Founders Catapult as I do with my Atlases...

Damage done is not always an indicator of good piloting. Actually the best pilots can kill with smaller damage because they are not spreading their damage all over the place.

And often times with out someone getting damage done, you don't get the opportunity as a smaller Mech to get the effective kill shots.

If you do the math all credits:damage are done at a 10:1 ratio now. It just makes up the stop gap that seems to be missing now and isn't a game changer as an end results.

Solutions, not perfection.

Whats the point of winning or losing then?

an extra 25k, plus salvage which from what i've seen is usually ~20-30k (have seen as high as 60k)

The C-Bills you get for doing damage is hardly nothing.

How much should they change it?

10,000K C-Bills per 100 Damage done?

yeah i can say that cbill farmers will strap up the scatter guns {lbx heavy cannons missles} cause you can get heaps of damage for the little amount of killing you do with them. not sure if it would be good to throw in a gameplay dictator like that.

anyother point of views?

they will have to increase it or add more rewards because right now you are not paying for repairs The upgrade tree would be almost impossible for one mec averaging a win at 100 k and a loss at 50k for a heavy mec is 100 matches plus for one that’s fine if you don’t have a life

Currently it's 25:1 in regards for damage:C-Bill.

I would like to see this increased to at least 50:1, maybe even 75:1.

How about increase the salvage reward? Reward people for the clean fast kills than slow kills. Plus it makes more sense since you gain more from the battle with more "salvaged goods".

I'd like to see damage rewards based on what part of the mech you hit;

Most for head and CT, less for legs and ST and least for arms.
Also extra pay for damaging internals rather than armour.

I would like to see an incentive implemented to survive a match. That will seperate the pilots from the wanna-bes, make everyone strive to be a better pilot, as well as give you more c-bills overall. And, it will also increase teamwork.

I'd like to see performance awards based on mission type.

For example, Conquest should award capping rewards, since that is contributing to the aim of the mission, to earn resource points.

Rewarding damage I see as a backwards step. This game is already full of assaults and heavies. If they want to push down a role warfare path, then they need to ensure the other non-damaging roles are rewarded as well.
