I've seen a few of these guys in my Lance and I've played against some of them. Highly skilled and determined Mechwarriors. The issue i have with them is they belong to House Steiner... If they had it open to any faction i would be all up for joining.

Those look like Draconis Combine colours! Steiner-blue is the way to go!

While Steiner Blue is common if you're joining up with the Royal Guards or the Lyran Guard regiments, the old Skye Rangers parade colors are red body with black arms.

Now you Skye Jaegers have all different rules about your mech colors ... something about checkerboard patterns I think.

Yes, us Skye Jaegers are Blue on the right side with a blue and white checkerboard on the left.

Since that is impossible to do in game we just stick with Blue (cobalt) and white (ash grey). Its quite dapper when you get all of us in the colours.

It's just too bad that blue doesn't come in a blindingly bright shade like green or purple do. Those Liaos and Mariks are lucky.

I really like how the Skye Ranger SJ1 group doesn't force everyone to poptart, kind of nice to use the skillset that you're good with instead.

If we promote you far enough up the ranks, we'd probably have to let you use those colours... we'd cry, but we'd have to let you.

FWIW, both the Rangers 'body/arms' pattern and Jaegers 'half checkerboard' pattern would be *really* nice additions in PGI's color schemes ...
