Last night, I had the most dramatic match that I've seen. It was down to me in a damaged KTO vs. a fresh commando at our base with the base 95% capped. I had a couple of slow teammates on the other side of the map, so I had to kill the commando or we'd lose to base capture. I stripped away his leg armor as he stripped all of my remaining armor. As I was getting close to legging him, he took out my remaining arm leaving me with 2 MLs and 10 SRMs. By the time I took out one of his legs, my torsos were dark orange with no armor front or back. His remaining leg had one or two good hits left, but I was only one or two hits away from being cored. Then my game locked up. I got the game back a few seconds later and I was still alive with a clear shot at the commando. I fired my lasers then fired my SRMs, but he cored me just as I launched the SRMs. As my mech exploded, the missiles flew through the air and took out his leg, winning the match. I'll admit that I should have had an easier time killing a commando, even with SRMs, but at least it was exciting.
