Hey everybody!

The Skye Rangers 17th Regiment is currently in a rebuilding phase. We have a brand new Regimental Commander in Damoclese69! He and I are dedicated to returning the 17th to its former glory. We have plans for some new events that should be pretty fun.

We are debuting our first event next Friday (2/8) called "Beer, Bros, and Battlemechs!" Which basically amounts to us grouping up, drinking beer, shooting the ****, and blowing up mechs. Almost everything is improved with friends and alcohol. Why should Mechwarrior be any different? The only rule: you have to announce what you're drinking to get in!

We are also going to implement a non-MWO game night. Not sure which night (probably Tuesday or Wednesday). While melting mechs with highly charged particles projected from cannons is great fun.... there are plenty of other great games out there. Come play some Minecraft, FTL, Planetside... whatever.

We are an East Coast regiment. People from any time zone are welcome, but GMT-5 around 5-6pm is our defacto meeting time just due to us getting done work around that time. Our new practice time is Fridays at 6pm. You can usually find either myself (dachad) or damoclese on most days after 6pm.

Great community, great people! No matter what type of player you are, or where you play from, the Skye Rangers have what you need. General Steiner and his staff are top notch, and dedicated to the brigade and it's members. Great to have leadership that can keep it organized, and still have a blast.

I am amazed how fast our Brigade has grown in just 13 months, yet has kept a very friendly, helpful and civil camaraderie amongst our 766 someodd 'Mehcwarriors... Truly the best guild I have ever had the privilege to have been part of.
