The first thing I do every game is look at my team to see what mechs we have.
I'd like the mechs my team has to be displayed to me while waiting for players and game countdown. The mechs of the other team wouldn't be displayed because they're a surprise!

Optional suggestion: Put a (T) after the mech type for trial mechs.

This is a suggestion I like.
And while you are at it... I really see no reason why we can't adjust weapon groups and look at maps while the countdown happens.

Additionally, they could put the variant name on the scoreboard or in players' chat messages (make it an option)
