Here is how it works:

Something new is introduced to the beta client. It is tested.

Then it gets adjusted. It is then tested again.

Then, it gets adjusted. It is then tested again.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Personally speaking, I think LRM's are working fine now. What needs to be adjusted is this free re-arm throwback from a bygone era. But that's not my point. My point is this, relating it to the above:

Artemis comes in. It's WAY too powerful. We know this because we tested it on the live server. The devs gathered the data, read the feedback, got to work on the adjustment and then introduced that adjustment.

Artemis gets adjusted. It's not too powerful but it doesn't quite make the entire battlefield experience feel changed at all compared to pre-Artemis. We know this because we tested it on the live server. So now:

The devs are gathering the data, read the feedback, are working on the final adjustment and will introduce it once it's ready.

OR, maybe they feel like it is where it needs to be right now. Either way, what many of you "Beta Testers who aren't Beta Testers" seem to forget is that your place in this project is to find/report bugs and give feedback. All this ******* and moaning isn't feedback. Read that again...it isn't feed back.

If your favorite love child weapon can no longer do what it once did, FINE. Say that. It's ok to report that something isn't what it used to be, in either direction...worse, better. But to couple it with "I'm leaving" or "PGI is incompetent" or "You don't look at me during" or all this nonsense...you screw up the data pool for the serious testers.

Don't confuse your happiness with effectiveness and balance. Also remember this: Just because YOU can't do something with a given thing, doesn't mean others can't. I've seen pure LRM boats take top spot on the board since the LRM Hotfix. Their damage was fine, their kills were fine...and more importantly, their ASSISTS were Great. What an odd factor to see in a SUPPORT Mech, right?

My yardstick for a successful match, win or lose, is if I can dish out at least 100 damage and have more than 2 assists. If there is a kill or 2 in there I add those to the assists column.
