...and then directly after that match, all the brain damaged spuds came out of the damned ground. Enough to actually make me angry with just how terrible they were. Simple instructions like "stick together" is evidently too god damned hard to comprehend.

I had a request from CGBI to assist them with some CW drops. I guess they needed a little Nova Cat muscle, as they seemed a little concerned at first with the whole Dis Offensive thing. I donno. I saw nary a "Free Raisinette" pilot among our enemies, tonight. As long as it isn't that god awful Invasion game mode, I am ok with it, mostly. More of a Scout Mode player, personally.

Also, the ease of breaking any sort of critical component for C or IS in the PTS is just beyond stupid. The moment armor is breached, an entire side torso can be rendered useless.
Here's a semi-short one. Stock mode. Two IS mediums vs one Clan medium.

The Huntsman is not an ideal laser platform. However, as a MPLas platform, it does a passable job. The odd crit placements for internal structure get in the way of installing two more DHS, but it does still fill that space with some nice utility equipment. A TC MK1 helps to supplement the weapon system, while an Active Probe and an AMS provide some often beneficial team utility functionality.
All the equipment in the world, however, does you jack diddly if you don't control the battlefield. In this video, you see me utilizing terrain to maximize the damage output and minimizing return fire. Vertical obstructions to block LRM fire. Horizontal platforms to limit the number of enemy mechs that were firing on me at any one time.

Two sequential games in my MPLas Huntsman. One match, I just went with the flow. The second, I got the team to counter the rotation of the enemy force and stop the NASCAR dead in its tracks.
