I've used the same build on it since.. I built it, and it's treated me wonderfully. Since I've recently returned to MWO, I figured i'd make some HYPE MONTAGE POP TART sniping instead just some gameplay footage. 1080P if ya can handle the buffering

Wow. Over 300 videos, now, of mech on mech mayhem. My channel originally started as a self-training aid. A way for me to see what I did right, what I did wrong, and what I could do to maximize the good while minimizing the bad.

From my first video to present, what a wild ride. I went from being a solitary pilot, to helping establish a Nova Cat foothold in MWO, to co-running Clan Nova Cat International, took more than my pound of flesh out of RHOD when I was in it, and now I find myself back into a status of semi-solo play.

What's old is new. A hell of a ride. One which I'm not quite done with, yet!

i know just how you feel. started solo, finally found someone to drop with, they gave up on the game last year, back to soloing, co-founder for a small (2 members) unit. now semi soloing.

Occasionally I like to pilot underdog mechs. You know, just to confirm if they really are as bad as the metaplayers claim they are or, perhaps, just to mix things up a bit. However, the IFR is actually surprisingly capable.

It is extremely hard to kill, due to a combination of its insane speed and its unusually narrow, distorted humanoid torso design. Those additional structure quirks just make it even more durable on top of it all. Hilariously, you can even outfit the Ice Ferret to be a nasty little brawler, like this one, or a respectable mid-range ERMLas vomit platform.

It is not a bad mech, whatsoever. If anything it is an underrated gem of a mech! Both a blast to pilot and a solid little workhorse to deal death in. Moves like a light mech while still stinging like a medium.

You might note I don't have any weapon modules on this one. Yet. It is performing entirely on its own merit right now. And this score? Not unusual, tonight. It kept bringing in 650+ damage games. Act as scout, then hit one side of the enemy line. After my stay gets worn out, shoot clear across to the other side of the fight and apply pressure - from behind if possible, but always leaving myself a way out. Fluidity of motion, rapid repositioning, and harassment is something this mech screams to do.
