To All Pugs: Thank You!

When you do just as much damage, and get just as many kills as we do, thank you.
More often than not when I drop with my team, we win the game, and if it weren't for the fact that we communicate with our PUG players, and they communicate back with us, we wouldn't be nearly so successful.
Thanks for getting our back.
Are there PUG players who DC, suicide farm, stand around AFK, or wander off to die solo? Sure there are. However I find these problems to be much less frequent than many others who post around here. Why?
Because we don't treat our PUG players like so much dead weight. Start treating those you are playing with respectfully, and you can see a world of difference.

I gotta agree as well. Even in pure pugs, I find people in this game are more willing to follow direction than in most when someone takes charge. Gold text gets people's attention too. Stay groovy MWO community.

For most of OB I've been grouping up.
This morning I decided to get a few PUG games in before work. I dropped in 4 games.
Every single game, I tried to communicate plans, point out defense areas, and get some coordination going.
3 games not a single person on my team would respond to chat or at least TRY to coordinate. Lost all 3.
The last game the entire team ran out into the open water areas on Forest Colony against a team that ws working together and got slaughtered.
I was the last mech alive and ran like a ***** offering power down surrender so I wouldn't have to eat a huge repair bill on my upgraded Cat C1. Their entire team was shooting at me, but stopped when I powered down. THEN, my team decided to break radio silence and complain about me not going down shooting.
What, like I'm supposed to listen to them after being completely ignored trying to coordinate some defense?
Given the cruddy morning, I would love to say THANK YOU to those non-grouping PUGGERS that will listen, help coordinate, and play with some teamwork. We all appreciate your help and team play.

You never know who is on your team.
It's always worth a quick shout out to let them know you're premade and willing to command for them.
Great thread, Lefty Lucy.

Most of the best players I have played with I have caught pugging. There are a 3-4 clans though that are stacked with good players that makes it hard to see how good they actually are when you only play them as a pugger. They seem pretty good from the outside.
Bring on 1v1s and solaris!

I got in a game with LeftyLucy a little while back and can confirm they were very respectful and professional.
I've noticed 99% of premade groups either flat out ignore you (and somehow expect you to magically know the plan), or they instantly deride you when they die.
I initiate conversation in all my games just to get people talking, but premades are the worst as communicating with the rest of the team. You're seen as useless until it's time to lay blame on their loss. Then they have no problem communicating.

Enjoyed playing with you. One of the better premades I worked with.

Yeah, even after you left it seemed like every game one of us would have an issue, either alex crashing to desk top or me with the 4FPS bug.
One game I got the 4 FPS bug and just sort of tried to stay in the battle line, making myself a target. Ended up wandering into the enemy base before I got killed, but at least I was a distraction
