Hey guys,

In the real Battletech rules, there are minimum ranges for LRMs and PPCs, it is 90m I think. Is there min ranges in MWO?

thanks

Yes, there are min ranges.

For LRM's they dont arm up close and will do 0 damage.
PPC's appear to do reduced damage as the target gets closer.
Gauss in theory does reduced damage, but it currently either isnt implemented or so trivial as to not matter.

LRM = 180m min range
PPC = 90m min range
ERPPC = no min range

PPC min range: 90 (still does damage but drops off drastically)
LRM min range: 180
No other weapons currently have min ranges in MWO.

A nice resource for stuff like this: http://mwowiki.org/
