Okay, I know there are multiple posts about this issue. So here's the POLL. Please answer as honestly as you can. I made the POLL anonymous so that we can get a feel of who is actually doing this on purpose (most likely because they have a viable reason why they do it) and to find those that are literally having trouble with disconnects right at the point before the concentrated fire hits you.

I've personally had a disco right before I was killed when I got hit by a salvo of LRM's and was being attacked by concentrated fire from more than 2 mechs. So I know it happens OCCASIONALLY. However, recently I have seen SO many people disco'ing right before death, that it's obvious to everyone that there is a problem here.

Please DO NOT make this thread the PUG vs. PRE arguement. We have seen literally every type of player disco b4 death. So don't be ashamed if it happened to you, and don't blame a PUG or PRE for doing it.

Please be respectful and courteous in your replies to this post. Lets get some honest ideas on what should be done about this issue.

Thanks guys.

Good luck, and Have FUN!!!

i think disco'ing on purpose is far less common than you think. disco'ing due to bugs on is the culprit.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to find out. I know it happens. Although with a few games last night, out of 3 matches we saw literally 10 people disco right before death. And comments in chat about quitting right before we killed a guy. He even told us he did. So it might be as common as we do think if people are willing to tell us that the do it on purpose.
