Just now I was retooling a 'mech when the servers went down... I lost all of the parts I sold and all of the parts I bought and all of the money for buying the parts that never arrived. I hope this issue isn't widespread! Luckily, the amount lost was fairly small, but this seems like a pretty nasty bug.

if you send a support ticket with the time of the crash they may be able to refund you based on your inventory and purchases at the time of the crash

I posted a thread about this yesterday. check your mechbay inventory it should be listed as bought you just need to put it in the mech again.
