things i noticed was engines seemed to gain the option to place a heat sink into it
any thing else some one has noticed not placed into the official patch notes?

Not new. For every 25 rating on the engine you can put 1 extra heatsink into it.
If it is a 275-295 rating you can put 1 extra heatsink in addition to the 10 that come stock with it

Basically, you can put one heatsink in the engine for every 25 in rating over 250. This doesn't help with tonnage but helps with crit slots.
The reverse, however, is that you need one heatsink outside the engine per 25 rating under 250... and yes, 245 rating needs one heatsink.
