There used to be a head hitbox guide on the closed beta forum but I don't see it. Has it been brought across/anyone got a link to the images?

I'd like to see this as well. I guess no one has saved the images?

No it didn't. Khobai just posted the same picture in both of these threads.
I'd like to see the original diagrams, if someone still has them... (e.g. all cockpit hitboxes for each mechs). By the way, I can't get cockpit hits by hitting lasers to the left eye of Atlas
Tried different locations, slightly lower etc, and nothing works. It always registers as torso hit.

That's the idea, it's hard to hit, and it should be hard to hit. It wouldn't make much sense to build these things if you could just COD headshot them. I'm pretty sure the Hunchback cockpit's hitbox is actually below what you would assume is its head.

It might just be me but it seems like it's ten times easier to hit the Catapult's head out of any other mech. Twice I've had a full health catapult pop up around a corner only to instantly die to my alpha strike severing its head.
On the receiving end, I've been beheaded at least half a dozen times as a catapult, half of those at ranges over 600m while I was moving and there were lots of trees blocking the view.
Might need a tad bit of tweaking.

It is a definite fact that the Catapult (,"Mad Cat", and any other mech with similar torso design) will get headshot much more often than any other mech.
It's also why I don't like using things with a torso similar to the Cat, the giant CT/Head zone.
