Considering we won't see any until at the very least when the Clans invade, eh it may be a while.

battle armor didnt show up tell later with the clans and later still Grey death legion commisioned their own to be made. Battle armor looses its appeal pretty quickly play mech warrior living legends, battle armors in that game.

Personally I like battle armor. Although if I were a lonely battle armor trooper stacked up against a group of Mechs, I know how small my chances would be. A single trooper doesn't stand a chance against mechs, but if somehow you could control a point or star, that would be pretty amazing. How exactly you could manage that, well... I'm not a programmer so I won't pretend that would be an easy task.

Patrio and Soulfire: in the canon BT universe, the Inner Sphere never quite got their armor up to snuff with the Clans Elemental suits. Similar, useful, and functional, yes... Just never with quite the same firepower, armor and versatility in a single package.

Close, but not quite.

See guys... approach is all wrong. Get into REAL LIFE first, canonize it, THEN get it in game. Before summer 2013, when we are knee deep in infantry of some type wearing armor.

BA is the worst thing about MWLL, its used by cheesy players who avail themselves of flaws in game design. If BA is ever incorporated into MWO they would do well to develop something different.

I won't mind, that'll mean I get to shoot more players/unit time.

so, you never heard about Star Colonel Jake Kabrinski? (BT novel "Test of Vengeance")
he took down an Atlas in a 1v1 duel

BA would be cool, but it´d take quite a change in the game mechanics because a single Elemental normally wouldn´t equal a ´Mech.
(a Star consists of 25 BA´s or 5 Mechs)

If I had the option of batttle armor or mech I would probubly choose mech. It would be AWESOME if battlearmor was still in the game as AI.
