The chief qualification for membership in the Tarkus Legion is the ability to transition smoothly between Mechs in different weight classes - an Atlas pilot who can function equally well in a Jenner is quite valuable to this unit.

Apart from that one requirement - which, honestly, is more of a recommendation - the goal of the Tarkus Legion is to be a cohesive Merc unit, built from the ground up to, hopefully, become a decently formidable fighting force. More importantly, of course, is having a group of people that function well together in a match and, win or lose, can just sit back and enjoy the game.

Erm... Look, I can understand why having an armadillo as a mascot might put some people off, but come on, it's a mechanized armadillo of war. I'll make this a one-man merc corp if I have to, but I'd really prefer otherwise.

Yes, exactly like ELP Tarkus. The mechanized armadillo of war was my inspiration for this.
