Well, it's an idea. Nothing more.
And we already have an easy mode targeting device that's avaliable for everyone. Heat Vision.
Nothing but line of sight required to see mechs even at 2000m+.

Modules would be pretty useless if they don't offer anything usefull.
We also could just get rid of the whole XP and pilot lab then, because everyone who plays a few games has an advantage over a new player.

If properly implimented I think this would go a long way to solving the lag sheild gripe.

There is no way of knowing how you have performed damage wise until the end of the battle; which is often long after your major battlefield engagements.

if the netcode or whatever is making enemys glow on my screen when i havent actualy hit them, then at least the server should report back to me with a damage readout to clarify.

I love this. It would make a great module. It would remove one of my largest gripes with ECM.

enhanced imaging/wireframe would be cool, but I feel it's just another one of those catering to the lazy/bad things.

When you say 10-20k GPX, I wonder how much gpx you make, because I think that I get 10% of the xp I got from every match, so even if I somehow manage to make 1k xp I only get 100GPX (I never reach 1k xp, I think the most xp I ever made was 600xp) The idea is kinda cool but won't turn the game more to pay to win? Luckily most modules and skills above the basic still gives a winning chance to players who don't have them but this will give a huge advantage over people who don't have them.

ps: seriously... I played for a week 3-4hs a day and couldn't even make 1k gpx

You got a point there.
GXP and CB cost were just an idea, but when I look at the GXP cost of other modules it seems reasonable.
To unlock the "cheapest" module you need 5000GXP and if I remember right the others are like 10.000-12.000GXP.
