Due to the inability of PGI to implement fixes to the economy that makes the game worth playing and not frustrating due to a lack of progression towards any of the xp unlocks and buying subsequent variants I have asked for a refund for my MC purchase that I did back in Closed Beta. I have lost faith in PGI and its willingness to listen to valid complaints from free players that I had no other recourse.

Money talks aka voting with my wallet and I'll be advising all my friends to avoid this game due to the economy.

I think you mistake slow progress with lack of listening.

Things here are progressing slowly slow because they are a small shop.

Lack of progression towards XP unlocks? What? Dude, I can max out a basic level XP tree in only a couple of hours on average. It is not hard at all to get XP.

Are you playing as a PUG or on teams? Even as a PUG though, you should be able to max it out quickly as long as you get kills, do lots of damage or blow off components of enemy mechs. What do your stats show as average XP per game?

Then again... I am on premium time--it still shouldn't be too hard without premium.

Regardless of what your issue is, we here in the forums have nothing to do with your refund request. You are better off just mailing support instead of climbing atop the great mountain which is the General Forums and screaming it out to the top of your lungs.

Try playing with a free account and come back to me about unlocks when it comes to buying the variants you need.

the problem is you lose too much. its not your fault per say, its probably because there are too many premades and not enough puggies.

But next time you perhaps should stay out of the beta phase of the game and not join in until the game is released.

[REDACTED] The game is coming along nicely anding new items ever week (bugs to, lol), but for a small company there doing ok and this will be a great game someday.

I agree. Threads like this do absolutely nothing for anyone. If you want a refund, contact PGI and see what they can do for you. Since you said money talks, take it up with them as this forum cannot fulfill your requests.

That being said, sometimes these forums can be a great source of entertainment... others not so much.

I've been in far more beta tests and this is the only one where the developers have taken two steps back to make things even worse for a segment of the population.

I find it funny that the bulk of the replies come from founders that don't suffer from the bad economy. Quite telling if you ask me.

Um, it's fairly easy...I have 3 Commandos finished with Elite and 2 Cats working on Elite and I've only been playing a little over a week

I guess that you didn't read the first post now did you? It's quite telling since I was very clear about WHY I asked for a refund.
