A similar build I have very good success with is a Cat C1 (I think) with 3 large lasers and 2 SRM6s and a whole pile of double heatsinks.

It gives up a little long range firepower for a pretty brutal close range punch and jump jets. Honestly it's the jump jets that sell me on it. You can instantly spin a 65 ton mech so no matter how fast the anklebiters are you have them in your sights.

It still runs into a little bit of a heat problem if you're spamming everything but it's workable. Between the missiles and lasers you can flatten an Atlas in no time, even from the front.

I zoomed in to view your image in detail. When I was done, I tried to close it by clicking [Exit Match]

I'm just curious, when your getting that much damage is it because it's all going against assaults and therefore difficult to kill, or is it because the beam duration tends to spread the damage across 2-3 sections? Just curious because I tend to prefer PPC or pulse to regular laser because I can't seem to hold the beam on target good enough to dump all the damage into a single section. Not knocking your playing at all because you definitely had the assists/kills to backup the damage, just seemed a little high considering your team mates did decent damage as well.

Statlab shows the Cat limited to 280 degrees. Where did you pull your numbers from?

If I new you could get that much rotation with a Catapault I would have picked that over a Dragon in a heartbeat! Arms are a great advantage and all, but Id rather be able to bring my CT weapons to bear at extreme angles.
