I too fit into the "My wife is a convert" crowd. She simply did not understand my love for games for...well several years actually. It was quite sad, but she "understood" and never tried to leave...or kill me....or castrate me...or throw my PC out the window. However, I then introduced her to the marvels of Endless Ocean, Rune Factory Frontier, and, ultimately, Oblivion. It's been all uphill since then, she has her own things she likes and leaves me to mine. All is well.

My wife and I are the ultimate geek couple.
We met at, get this, a weekly Dungeons and Dragons game. (2nd Ed).
From there she introduced me to online gaming by getting me to play Everquest with her.
Thus it began...
I got to introduce her to Mechwarrior with MW 3.
To this day I have no idea what lucky thing I did to be blessed with a gamer chick wife.
all I know is I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
