PGI is giving us 2 weeks of free time. After the two weeks they will reset all time and implement the wonderful button. So enjoy your free two weeks of free premium time :D

I'd be kind of cool if they had given any kind of indication for that in the game itself. This seems like information that should be readily available when you start up the game!

that info was available for at least 1 week or more now... if you know about the button itself, i wonder why you don´t know about the when...

those who can read are in huge advantage, it seems...

Being a concending ***** doesn't win you any internet bonus point ya know.

My point is still very valid, there is nothing in the launcher/game that informs you of this bonus time, when it started and when it will end. This should be information that is readily available when you start the game, not something you need to find in your mailbox or look up in the forums.
Not everyone eats, breathes and lives MWO. I might have read this in the newsletter email several weeks ago, I can't even recall. Its not something I actively try to remember and make note of since *gasp* I also do things other than MWO. I like maybe play this game for a few rounds once every two weeks.

We are working on a Premium Time redeem button.

Late November Patch
  • Your Founder's Premium Time will be reset to full.
  • A redeem button will be available in the Front End of the Client.
  • If you click the button and accept the prompt, your time will be injected in FULL and begin counting down.
  • This is a one time permanent operation.
  • This operation is not reversible or refundable.

No way I want the devs spending time on this when we get an email and a forum that tell us the two week thing as well as the button. Putting it in the interface takes time. Be grateful for the two weeks of free premium and play.

Whoa guys, chill, if you point out that reading is OP to much they'll nerf it.

Let's keep it on the DL that reading actually informs you of what's going on and will give a very unfair advantage to those with that pay2win skill.

Hey OP, why are you in a beta-test if you have no intention of reading announcements and patch notes? This is the zillionth post about premium time when PGI has already addressed it more than once.

Be thankful for your two free weeks, and start doing your homework.

Sweet, I was mildly worried when I noticed there wasn't an "activate time" button.

Wrong.

You accuse me of being blind, I accuse you of being dumb as hell. Try reading the thread again. maybe you'll get what is actually being said on the second time. Then you wouldn't have needed to waste your time making a picture out of it.

Dohoho, teeheehee. Aren't you just clever?

'Some' people just start up the game, see the premium timer count down and wonder what exactly is going on. Seeing as there is no indication in the patcher or ingame that this is 'free premium time' and not the time you paid for, this is not a strange question to have. Information like this should (and in most cases would be, League of Legends for example has news items right in the game's launcher) be readily available in the game itself.

To quote myself:

All of you are just being ******** for the sake of being ********. This nothing to be proud of. Grow up.

not all of us actually read our e-mail accounts attached to this game. Or if for some of us who have this game tied to our primary e-mail accounts, then, they maybe like me, sometimes things get lost in the mass of e-mail that comes in during the course of doing things in daily life that are NOT MWO. I myself was mystified at the fact I saw my clock going down hill, but, KNOWING that I had NOT been online at ALL in some time, like, not since BEFORE 10-18-12, was stumped, but, did recall mention of the button. So, cut people slack. Glad to know it will show by months end, give or take.
