Please fix the HUD not starting back up whenever I overheat. I know I shouldn't overheat, if I didn't overheat this wouldn't happen, I should be a better pilot and not overheat yada yada yada. How many times do I need to alpha to kill an atlas then my hud wont show back up and I can't see where to aim to kill the hunchback that was with the atlas and then he kills me because all of my teammates ran off to kill the squirrel.

The best short term fix is to not hit override the second you go in to shutdown. I have had this problem with my K2 and my 4P when I get heavy handed with my lasers. I normaly pilot away around a bolder and cycle power with P this brings the hud back.

Manually power down, then power back up. It fixes missing HUD, and that thing where your whole screen is gold.
It also gives someone the opportunity to core your arse out, so it's kind of catch 22.

Simple fix:
Power down using P.
Wait 1 second
Power back up
Problem solved, until the bug is fixed.

Override has no bearing on this bug. I have had it appear after just letting my mech power back up on its own, after a shutdown.

Same here. It's just a random chance of no HUD post-shutdown, override not required. The only way to restore HUD is to manually power down with the P key, then power back up.

Most times trying to "fix" the bug ends up getting you killed.

Known issue, it has been reported.

I kind of like it... as if you take a sensor hit... or something... yes its a bug... but there should be a place for "No hud" somewhere! hehe

If it's a known bug why doesn't it show up in the bug pages? Is there a time frame for fixing it?
Powering down and powering back up generally gets you killed just as quick as just trying to randomly hit the guy without a crosshair.
