Possible corrupted files.

As suggested from another thread,

http://support.micro...l_and_uninstall

use Only the above method to delete MWO and reinstall the game again.

hai!!!

After doing a quick review, the path you have been posting takes care of everything solution instead of doing it piecemeal and waiting for a reply back on whether or not a particular suggestion worked, especially with this particular symptom.

Ok,

1. Set MWO shortcut with Admin privileges (logging into a windows account with Admin priv for Vista+ is not the same. Those OS will need you to provide additional permissions.

2. Set your video card settings to application control, or setup a profile with said settings. Forcing specific settings on has caused issues but generally it has been with the UI interface.

3. With antivirus/internet security programs, set exception for the MWO exe and folder.

4. Re download and install directx 9c.

If you would, post your dxdiag, just the first section, including the video/sound card section.

I would also suggest opening up a support ticket.

I have directX 11.
Will i have to download again the patches? Because I have downloaded it four times.
Could you write me where can I do these settings? I am not a computer genius :)

The game currently runs on dx 9c only, DX11 has not been enabled yet. Dx10/11 are not backward compatible. Vista+ installations comes with a base dx9c but usually it does not have all of the updated modules installed that dx9c games may need.

And those different directx are installed in their own location, thus do not overwrite each other. The links are provided in the link below, as well as some other instructions.
Crash at Login? This may help!

Lets start with the above items first.

Where can I download direcx 9c ? When I click on the "Install/Update DirecX" button then I download the dxwebsetup. I click on this programme and it write this:

"An internal sstem error occured.
Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem."

Use the off line version.

1. Unpack it to a specific, temp location such as c:\directx9
2. Then in that new folder double click on dxsetup.exe.

Same Exact issue as this guy... but the manual DX9 Offline reinstall apparently fixed it for me.
Card: Sapphire HD 6790, latest XP compatible Beta Drivers (12.6 or something?) / 6.14.0010.7270 (7/27/2012)
Sys: XP pro SP 3. -- DXdiag now reporting vers: 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I can see the models in the Mech Bay where as I couldn't before manual DX update + reset

Ok I installed DX9 manually and it still doesn't work, Do I need to reinstall MWO after I install dx9?

DRobert, can you perhaps post what was it that worked for you? I am having the exact same problems. Was it the config files? Or DirectX?

Reinstalled DirectX9, did not fix the problem.

Reinstalled MWO, did fix the problem.

I did it the above way, so no way to tell if just a reinstall would fix. I also used the above Microsoft program to uninstall.
