So, I need help understanding exactly how the LRM works. And yes, I did use the search to check before I made this thread and I found nothing.

Uhh, to use LRMs you have to first target an enemy with "R" by default, then hold your reticle over the enemy until your reticle turns red. You can then fire your missiles if the enemy is within 180-1000m. Learning the effective arcs of the LRMs takes some practice, but the general idea is to try to hit enemies that are in the open and won't be able to break line-of-sight from your mech or your teammates. That's pretty much it, it's a fairly straightforward weapon, there are some tricks you can use with reaquiring locks with the missiles mid flight, but it's mainly just shooting at the right targets.
