Do we know if this is around the game timeline?

HBK-5S - Originally a refit line converted to full production, the 5S is a complete overhaul of the [/color]Hunchback design developed by [/color]Norse-Storm BattleMechs . The structure has been modified to use [/color]Endo Steel construction techniques, the engine has been upgraded to a [/color]Light Fusion Engine , and it has had four [/color]Jump Jets added for increased mobility. The 'Mech carries, as its primary weapon, an [/color]LB-X Autocannon/20 supported by two [/color]Medium Pulse Lasers and a single [/color]Small Laser .[/color]

..If not, what's the release date going to be?

A little while, as the IS does not get the LB-X 20 until 3058.

Without looking it up I'm pretty sure teh Light Fusion Engine didn't come about until 3065 or so...

Meaning you have about a 15 year wait for this variant.

Along with Light Gauss, Rotary ACs, Heavy Gauss...etc...

You could always swap AC20 on prime for a LBX10 and the pulse lasers, but probably no go on the jump jets unless there's a variant they include which has em.

It's introduced in 3058, and the AC and the Light Fusion Engine aren't available until then (The latter actually appears to have been put into mass production by the IS only in the early 3060s).

Yeah afterwards i glanced at the light fusion, looks like it is introduced by the Lyrans in 3062. :/

Indeed. Either the MUL is lying about the introduction date or Norse-Storm got their engines from Wolf's Dragoons or somebody.

The real kicker is getting a Hunchie with jump jets, if jump jets can only be equipped to a variant that comes with jets.That particular variant must be from well after 3049 because of the stock LB-20X... But this doesn't mean MWO can't make it's own variant to give the slowpoke some jump jets

I don't recall there being one until the 5S series.

Probably have to put some autocannons on a Catapult, then, for a similar build (if a wholly different chassis)
