I came to this game with the expectation that I wouldn't have to be dealing with the same crap that happens on Call of Duty or Medal of Honor.

Sadly, I was wrong.

I am now forced, as in many other MMOs, to carry (and die for) PUGgies. People who have no sense of team play. Who are in it for the Kills, or DPS, or whatever else, and do not contribute to the combined team effort.

Flatly, It is enough to make me log off, and not log back on until I hear that we once again have 8 man drops, and I have a full team that I can rely on. Until such a time, I will not be imparting my hard earned money upon PGI, nor will I be recommending this game to any of the 100s of college students I attend school with who need a bit of downtime between studying who also have disposable income.

The lack of actually searching and reading dev posts on this issue. wait this is a non issue since 8 man drops are back during the next patch. Before jumping to conclusions try to actually read up on the issue you are having, you may find it is actually already addressed.

I've looked through the forums. I know I saw that 8 man drops will be back in some form.

Can someone with better search fu point me to where they say 8 man groups will be back? Also, are they still planning to only allow 8 man groups special matches, or will they actually do the right thing and just make the matchmaker handle it?

the loss of 8 man has drastically lowered the amount of my group logging on, we often had 6 full groups dropping, like almost 24/7 now we have 2-5 groups of 4 at best. most are waiting for team play to return, but if it helps the game, i can wait the few more days to.
