Mwo And New Players

Okay so after playing 300+ games, I've come to a conclusion that MWO needs to segregate the new players from those who has played 50+ games.
Why? Because some of these new players do not care about team work, strategy, or just the simple idea of "sticking together." Some of them are just trying things out, some of them are actually hooked but are so keen on making c-bills that they connect and afk, or some of them picked the wrong mech and just disconnect without caring about W:L ratio.
These kinds of problem cannot be controlled and sadly, in a 8v8 match, 1 mech can make the difference between winning and losing. It's sad that PGI do not implement Groups of 8, so even if you have a team of players willing to play a strategy, 1 or 2 newbies, afker, and whatnot can just ruin the experience for you.
1 good example would be when an atlas- the as7-k variant decided to go forward against the entire enemy team when our team strategy was ambushing them when they go out the caves.
We were able to get 6 to 8 score against the enemy team.
It's so sad that the match making system of this game is one of the many reasons why veterans decide to quit for good. No matter how good you are, you will always be a part of the team. It takes a lone player to ruin the experience for you.
Solutions
1.) Players with games below 50 or any number above 10 should be segregated.
2.) Players with high disconnects as compared to their completed games should be banned.
3.) Option for teams to be able to request a pause/restart option for disconnects and afkers. Players will be redirected in a room where all remaining players can wait for new players to replace the ones kicked or afk. Restart/Pause can only be requested 2 minutes after match count down.
4.) Just let us make groups of 8.

You might want to read some of the Command Chair articles written by the Dev Staff. They are making improvements to both matchmaking and the new user experience.

If you invite a friend to join you, if players are forced into segregated new vs old players, you can't play with your friend for what may take weeks for them to crawl out of the noob pit, while you cannot drop in a group with them and lend them a hand or give them hands-on tips.
There are already plans in development for improving new user flow and improving matchmaking- not every new player is going to need 50 games to learn the ropes, and many new players will want to play with their friends who are existing players.

The segregation is cancelled when the new player joins the group?. New players who play in groups 1. be afk 2. Intentionally disconnect 3.) willing to listen to his/her friends

If you want to play with your friend, why not have him join your match. Truth be told, I don't believe somebody with 5000+ posts could really have this problem... I don't want to be rude, but really? FriendS.. Plural... 5000+ Are you sure?

Well, once they add the premade queue, then your new player friend can join your premade and skip the new player queue entirely.
I think it needs to be Skill Based Ranking Matchmaker for the Lone Wolf Queue, and then just straight up Premade vs. Premade (with incomplete teams filled with smaller groups or Lone Wolves that opt to join premade queue) with no balance whatsoever. For now. You can improve the premade queue with some type of BV matching or "mech chassis slots" (ie. a 2/2/2/2 queue and a 2/3/2/1 queue, etc.)

You realize those with more posts are actually more likely to have a large number of "internet friends" than those with less posts, as a general rule? As in those with more posts probably are more active online, more so than "because they are awesome" or anything.
Just sayin'.

What kind of headstart do you guys have at this game to have thousands of posts? Are we talking months? No wonder us noobs are getting stomped so bad - we need segregation now

I've been playing since August 7th or so. Most founders are probably right around there as their start date as well. Only a few hundred total beta testers prior to August 7th.
But really, just a week or two of play time in this game will give one a world of advantage over a new player. I know my "skill" kind of peaked around a month in and I have not gotten significantly better since then (my stats are more or less the same now as then, though I am better at getting the occasional headshot now.)

And, really, the 1000+ post guys are just "internet denizens." I'm making some 20+ posts a day on various forums, all day, every day, basically. If not MWO, then ArsTechnica, the FWLM forums, Fark threads, etc.
