I belive this would be the best choice for Battlemech 20!!!
And hint hint to PGI Phelan Kell's Wolfhound "Grinner" would make a great hero mech and I wold love for you to take my money for a WLF-1B

EDIT: cuz i was wrong about it being mech 19 now hoping for 20 (:))

Shameless bump. I am 100% for that as Mech 19 AND as a Hero mech. That is one I would pay money for.

I don't think it has enough variants. Well if you count the hero variant yes but then no elite efficiencies for free-to-players.

Ya, the WLF-1 and WLF-2 are the only available during the current timeline.

In hindsight the Atlas AS7-K technically doesn't exist yet, either.

they could always give us the WLF-1 as the prototype and make WLF-1A the production model and the WLF-2 would give us 3 different ones for F2P players

like they did with the Atlas

Technically according to the BattleTech Master Unit List the following WolfHounds would be avaiable:

WLF-1
WLF-1A
WLF-1B
WLF-2 (if you want to Fudge the years a bit... to 3052)

I'm not sure there is enough variety among those: They are minor changes in armor, HS #, and the removal of the WLF-1s rear medium laser.

I do not expect the WLF to appear as a viable option for #19.

IMO having the WLF-1, 1A, and 1B would work great even if the varients are all similar would still be a great new light to pilot plus they could slightly change the 1A and 1B with different tech like the 1A has Endo and the 1B gets DHS.... Maybe even have one of the 3 start with a Large Pulse Laser and 2 Med lasers (1A) and another wath Large Laser and 3 Med pulse lasers...(1B)
Its ok if they go alil off "Cannon" (don't flame war me) if it lets us have a mech as oppose to not having it at all

A really superb Fan Art concept also is allready shown in the forums, this look and "Grinner" as a hero mech, i would buy it right away.
