Well you can speculate on its effectiveness its super expensive but i was bored an has some extra CB. i know i have fun playing this hunch im just amazed at all the things i managed to put on this 50 ton mech. Its hits hard an fast.
Answered questions
Yes i know its probably a waste of CB
I know FF raised repair cost to like 55k a wipe i don't care
DHS is just for the motor i use no heat-sinks

Interesting setup, you do hit and fade attacks i'd guess right?
I love the med mechs, my first and currently only mech, is a Cent, can do a lot with those 50 tons.

Nice!
Though I like AMS and my wallet so I used a 250 engine and normal armor.

HBK-4P w/ DHS
250 STD engine
8x MLAS
10x DHS
Does 81KPH w/o speedtweak, 40dmg alphas (can do 2.5x in a row without overheat), and you can lose a side torso without dying. I love it. It's fast enough to run away, and if someone is silly enough to stand still you can dump 80 damage into a pinpoint spot in 3 seconds before fleeing behind cover.
Originally had 9x MLAS with a 245 engine and a tiny bit more armor but then realized going to a 250 would give me an additional 2.0 heatsink inside the engine. Definitely worth the tradeoff in alpha damage.

Love the hunchies, well the 4SP and 4G variants anyway.
My 4SP:
250 std engine (87kph w/ speed tweak)
5x ML
2x SRM6 and 2 tons of ammo
304 Armor
15x DHS
endosteel armor
Alphastrike @ 55 damage, heat efficiency of 1.23. I designed this mech for hit and run alpha strike tactics. I find on Forest Colony, I routinely get 3+ kills per match (This map is well-suited to hit-and-run combat). The ammo is a little low, which I actually prefer because it forces me to save the SRM salvos for enemies coming at me or going away.
I love the 4g with the ac20 though, too, had my best game yet with it (5 kills, 3 assists).

This build also actually works well with a Yen Lo Wang since they have similar hardpoints.
I'm really liking this build

I get 1.18 Heat Efficiency with that same build. Could it be a bug?

It's the same speed as my Awesome with 200 points less armor and half the firepower. Neat, but I think they really hurt fastbacks when they nerfed chassis engine limitations.
