either a catapult or that one awesome with 2 LRM15, 2 LL which was trial mech 2 weeks ago

Yes, the Catapult is the traditional (and best) missile boat. All you have to decide is how many backup weapons you want. I usually see either the 2 missile 4 laser version for pugging, or the 6 missile version for coordinated groups (that one uses 6 LRM5s in chain fire).

Ya I'd say Cat also for the different LRM configs. Plus jumpjetting up from behind buildings are firing is fun.

Catapult C1- 2 LRM launchers (launches SRM's and Streaks too) and 4 energy slots. With the recent patch "nerfing" the LRM's to basically laughable weaponry the thought of a missile boat or missile support mech has been pretty much non-existent so it's best to get the C1 with the options of energy weapons. At least you can contribute to the team with some destructive energy beams when you fire and hope for PGI to sneak a bit of improvements in over the next few patches for the LRM's. Then you would have a mech that can fling some LRM20's down range and be a support mech / missile boat but in the meantime with the lasers help out ya team.
