Pretty simple, really, and was surprised to see this overlooked. I used to bind weapon group 3 and 4 to mouse wheel up/down in previous mechwarrior games (once i started having a scroll wheel), similar to Medieval Warfare: Chivalry. It's really handy, and for those who want to use it for other things like weapon config/zoom/whatever (i know scroll click zooms), they can.

You can do it manually. It's in a few different posts. I'm sure you saw them when you searched prior to posting.

But I gave no idea why it doesn't work in game options anymore. (it used to)
