Ah, you laugh but it is true!

It was, in fact the so called "original" of the picture that has been doctored to exclude the Marauder.

It was sent back in time by the Star League do aid the Bolsheviks in the revolution, thereby ensuring the fall of the Russian Empire, in order to repair the timeline and ultimately lead to the creation of the Star League in the first place.

The Bolsheviks edited out the mech afterwards for obvious reasons... and because they're pretty self-centered like that.

It's obviusly a fake c'mon if the SLDF ever returned to fix the past it would be in Kerensky's Orion not some cranky marauder.

Its one of ours actually, a Clan IIc variant, part of our plan to retake Tera before the Starleauge was ever even dreamed of, to rewrite history in our glorious image. But thats all TOP SECRET so don't tell anyone.

You are partly correct but you have your facts mixed up! The timeline was first skewed by the clans, which in turn led to the need for the SLDF to send the Marauder to fix it.

The clans had sent a Timberwolf a few years before which managed to do some pretty decent damage but eventually got stuck in a mudslide in Georgia and was lost forever.
